About

Aubyn Philabaum

Aubyn Philabaum coaching

Aubyn is a professional actor and coach based in both Los Angeles and Tucson.  She holds her BFA in Acting from Boston University and her MFA in Acting from The Yale School of Drama.  Aubyn also studied in London and worked on New York stages for many years before moving west.

As an actor, Aubyn may be seen on CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX, Netflix and most recently on FX’s Mayans M.C. – her scene as an impatient shopper has twice gone viral.

Along with being a professional actor, she has spent the last 15 years as a teacher and coach, having worked as a guest artist at multiple universities and private studios.

Aubyn founded Book The Room Coaching in Los Angeles in 2019 – acting coaching and self-tapes for the professional actor – which turned remote during the pandemic.  This allowed her to meet clients all over the world.  She now coaches actors in the U.K., Mexico, Philippines, Ecuador, Canada and all over the U.S.

She finds great joy in helping actors free themselves of limiting beliefs so that they may delight in the work and Book The Room!

Aubyn splits her time between Los Angeles and Tucson, Arizona, where she operates the Aubyn Philabaum Acting Studio for in-person classes and workshops.
